Serenity Cottage is located on a fully wooded 2 acre lot. The pre-existing foliage has been supplemented by newly planted evergreens to provide full privacy while enjoying yourself on the deck or hot tub.
No. We provide everything you need in the kitchen except consumables.
Yes, Georgian Bay is a very clean lake. In addition, for added purity, we have had a UV sterilized/carbon filtration system installed. You do not need to bring bottled water.
No. We provide blankets, comforters, and pillows, but you will need to bring your own bed sheets, pillowcases, kitchen towels, bath towels, etc. For an additional fee we will provide bed sheets, pillowcases and bathroom towels (not beach towels).
High end fridge, smooth topped stove, 2 dishwashers, washer, dryer (2 more fridges on the lower level and small bar fridge)
Plus a 5 burner propane BBQ (we supply the propane) and a large wood fired spit roaster.
Yes, the cottage has a complete heating/air conditioning and humidity control system.
Please inquire about our dog policy with the owners—this is decided on a case-by-case basis. Cats are not permitted at the cottage.
No, we ask smokers to smoke outside. We are adamant about this request.
The beach and lake bottom consist of flat rock and pebbled rock. It is a very gradual walk into the deeper water.
Yes, it is a beautiful, clean, slightly turquoise coloured lake.
There is a gradual slope into the deeper water—fine for young children.
Yes, the lake has very good fishing. Some of the species of fish that can be caught there are trout, perch, whitefish, pickerel, and bass.
Yes. We do provide a limited selection of life jacket sizes. However, for your safety, we ask you to bring your own life jackets, as they will fit you properly.

We do not have a dock. You may possibly moor your boat offshore.
Yes, both the hot tub and sauna are year round amenities
There are several fire pits – two lakeside and one roadside (and a portable to take to the tobogganing hill) We supply the firewood for the fire pits and for the sauna.
Owen Sound is only 20 minutes away – with a brand new hospital, a variety of grocery stores, the LCBO, beer store and a large selection of restaurants and box stores.
